Melissa Lagos is the founder and President of Oh My Dog South Florida and has been drawn to care for animals from a very young age. In her youth she took care of her family dogs here in South Florida as well as her family home in Nicaragua. Her love of caring for animals flourished to new heights when she graduated high school and was awarded a position at the Saint Francis Animal Clinic. Working at the clinic gave Melissa the proper training and techniques to professionally work with animals. She worked her way up from receptionist to surgical technician in just a short three-year time frame. She went on to focus her career on canine training and was offered a position working under Dennis Urrutia, the master trainer for K-9 Specialist Dog Training with over 30+ years of expertise. Working closely with Dennis for many years, which then lead Melissa to be able to excel in the field of canine training, so much so she then opened her own dog training company. Melissa takes pride and love in every dog she meets, set realistic goals and looks forward to the opportunity of work with you and your pup.

Brad Gomez has been a public servant for Miami-Dade County for many years and is a Veteran of the United State Army with an extensive educational background in Criminal Justice. As a member of the Oh My Dog SFL team Brad instills his knowledge of security, discipline, and teamwork to ensure the highest quality care when working with you and your pup. He is an avid animal lover with a passion for safety, which combined helps create a cohesive environment in meeting you and your pup’s needs. Brad is dedicated to helping people live a safe and happy life with their dog by their side and looks forward to helping you next.
